SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Genop Healthcare, the exclusive distributors for Allergan in South Africa, are committed to social upliftment and community projects in South Africa.

Together these two companies have, for a number of years, been involved in a variety of projects such as:

• Annual donations to Forest Town School for disabled children in order to assist in the treatment of cerebral palsy children as well as the sponsorship of a Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist at the school to ensure that the children benefit from a holistic approach to minimize their disability.
• The Hope School where children benefit from the treatment with BOTOX^®.
• Annual sponsorships to the United Cerebral Palsy Children’s Home to assist children with cerebral palsy.
• Sponsorship for the building of a school in the rural part of Rustenburg and school packs for the children.
• Ongoing clinical trials support, including a study at Baragwanath Hospital for the use of BOTOX® in club foot. This could potentially reduce hospital costs and benefit the community.
• Support for fund raising and public awareness campaigns through the Dystonia Association.
